Our History
Sober Living, Inc. is a private non-profit 18 month long-term facility with the capacity to provide approximately 96 men and women a supportive living environment and transitional housing while assisting them to address the issues, behavior patterns and thought processes that are directly associated with their continued substance abuse/misuse. Our facility has successfully operated for approximately 23 years. By developing established relationships with multiple entities and businesses within the community and across the state, we have been able to provide a holistic approach to recovery. The majority of our clients' addiction has yielded legal consequences resulting in criminal records. Additionally, their level of education also poses a challenge for them.
Sober Living has established additional relationships and partnerships within the community that will help us provide educational and vocational opportunities for residents such as acquiring their GED and obtaining fulltime employment based on their abilities and not be rejected because of their past. Being able to meet these specific needs ensures the residents are exposed to positive influences that are guided by credentialed and licensed personnel, interns and positive peer counselors.
